Giving
We are strong believers in giving back to communities and causes.
inward bound proudly supports The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. ASPCA fights to end animal cruelty and alleviate the needless fear, pain and suffering in animals’ lives. We are their voice and by contributing we can fight against abuse and directly impact the lives of needy animals.
inward bound also gives to the Music Festival for Mental Health, which is the nation’s leading charity venture fund aimed to treat and ultimately, cure mental illness through brain research.

Through the Music Festival for Mental Health, the Staglin family has raised $83 million since 1995, to improve awareness and promote private and public funding for prevention and cure. Founders Shari and Garen Staglin completely underwrite all the costs to administer and produce the yearly Music Festival event, so that 100 percent of all donations go directly to research. By identifying the underlying causes of brain disorders, both genetic and environmental, the research we fund is able to identify people at risk and, often, help them to stay healthy throughout their lives.

The Staglin Family
“The Music Festival has a unique place in American philanthropy – it is as much a celebration of life, and of our common commitment to improving the lives of individuals suffering from psychiatric disorders, as it is a fundraising event.”
-Tyrone Cannon, PhD, Director of the CAPPS mental illness prevention center at UCLA
